La compagnie low-cost allemande a un fort programme de développement en 2014, notamment en France. Elle s'apprête à lancer un vol Paris-Berlin cet été...
A partir du 31 août, les franciliens pourront voyager vers la capitale de l’Allemagne en emprutant les vols de la low-cost Germanwings, filiale de Lufthansa.
Une route attendue alors que Berlin est la première destination touristique urbaine en Allemagne.
Germanwings proposera 12 vols par semaine entre Paris et l’aéroport de Tegel à Berlin.
Du lundi au vendredi, deux vols partiront de Paris à 9H20 et 20H45 pour se poser à Berlin à 10H50 et 22H05 respectivement.
Le samedi le vol décollera de Paris à 9H20 pour se poser à Berlin à 10H50 contre un départ de Paris à 20H45 le dimanche, pour une arrivée à 22H15 à Berlin.
Berlin : un hub en développement
Toujours au départ de Berlin, Germanwings proposera également des vols vers Moscou à compter du 31 août: les passagers français pourront ainsi prendre des vols en correspodance vers Moscou via la capitale allemande.
Et en début de mois, le 4 juillet, Germanwings a inauguré des vols vers Barcelone et Zagreb depuis Berlin. La compagnie avait planifié depuis longtemps un développement à berlin en prévision de l'ouverture du nouvel aéroport de Brandebourg. Même si celui-ci n'est toujours pas ouvert suite à de multiples retards, la compagnie parie néanmoins sur Berlin (même si Tegel est déjà saturé).
Nombreuses ouvertures de lignes en France en 2014
En France, le développement est également ambitieux mais reste centré sur les villes allemandes.
La compagnie s'apprête à lancer des vols directs au départ de Nice et Paris vers Dusseldorf cet automne (les vols au départ de Paris étaient jusqu'à présent opérés via Hambourg).
Auparavant cette année, Germanwings a lancé plusieurs nouvelles routes dans notre beau pays dont : Nice-Berlin, Toulouse-Hambourg, Montpellier-Dusseldorf et Lyon-Dusseldorf.
Globalement en Europe, l’ensemble des liaisons au départ de Düsseldorf, Hambourg et Berlin, auparavant assurées par Lufthansa, ont été transférées à Germanwings.
Un sacré développement pour la filiale de la compagnie allemande!
Elle assure ainsi environ 101 vols hebdomadaires entre la France et l’Allemagne.
« Il s’agit du plus grand nombre de vols jamais opérés par la compagnie en France », a déclaré Andreas Engel, responsable presse de Germanwings. « Nous sommes fiers de relier la France à l’Allemagne à travers une offre aussi variée ».
