Air France could eliminate 5,000 jobs
According to the website of the daily Le Figaro, Air France would provide a voluntary separation plan of 5000 jobs by 2015 as part of its restructuring plan.
The restructuring plan is expected to be unveiled Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the conclusion of the Works.
Negotiations should last a month with employee representatives.
Air France aim to reduce costs by 20% by that date where this drastic plan.
The CEO of Air France, Alexander Juniac will have to negotiate also with the new Minister of Transport and Maritime Economy, Frédéric Cuvillier, the mayor of Boulogne-sur-Mer.
